Big Event of the Year
Dear Terraces families and friends,
This is just a reminder that tomorrow, August 10, is the last day for you or your loved one to RSVP for our Annual Luau on August 19 at 1:00pm. Please call the front desk and get your name in for this annual bash! We hope to see lots of new—and old—faces here this year!
I also want to let you know that we have one resident who tested positive for Covid. It’s an isolated case and doesn’t change anything in terms of visitation, activities or anything else. The resident is in quarantine and we will follow all the protocols put out by the CDC, which we, of course, have done all along.
However, you may have heard that Covid is on the upswing around the country (world?). It’s not dangerous like it was in the early days, but we are urging your loved ones to use caution when out of the building. Masks are—and have been—optional inside the building. But, to protect everyone in the community, we recommend wearing masks at outside appointments or errands for the near future. Also, we’ve asked our residents to move away from people who are coughing and sneezing and generally try to maintain 6 feet of social distance when away from the community.
Please let us know if you have questions or concerns or if there’s anything else we can do to serve you or your loved one.
